Akande described their victory as a clear reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in them by the electorate, urging them to justify the mandate through dedicated service and people-oriented leadership.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the governor’s aide said the success recorded at the polls should be seen as a call to responsibility rather than a personal achievement, stressing the need for the incoming local government officials to prioritize the welfare and development of their communities.
