JUST IN: Olowojoba Congratulates Idiaye, Urges New Speaker to Provide Inclusive Leadership

Member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) National Working Committee and South-South Chairman, People Living with Disabilities (PLWDs), Chief Ayo Olowojoba, has congratulated Rt. Hon. Yekini Idiaye on his emergence as the new Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly.
Olowojoba, in a congratulatory message issued on behalf of himself, his family and political associates, described Idiaye’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence reposed in him by his colleagues and a recognition of his leadership experience and commitment to the development of Edo State.
He urged the new Speaker to use his position to promote purposeful, inclusive and people-oriented leadership, while safeguarding the dignity, independence and integrity of the Edo State legislature.
According to him, the emergence of Idiaye comes with enormous responsibility at a critical period in the state’s political and developmental journey.
Olowojoba expressed confidence that the new Speaker would deploy his experience and leadership capacity to foster unity and effective legislative engagement for the benefit of the people of Edo State.
He also prayed for divine wisdom, courage, good health and strength for Idiaye to discharge the responsibilities of his new office with distinction.
The APC NWC member further wished the new Speaker a tenure marked by peace, progress and meaningful development across Edo State.
“Once again, congratulations, Rt. Hon. Yekini Idiaye, the Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly. I wish you a successful and impactful tenure,” Olowojoba stated.
