Ondo 2024: I will fortify Amotekun, deploy app to fight crime, insecurity– Sen. Jimoh Ibrahim

Aspirant for the Ondo State Governorship election, Senator Jimoh Ibrahim has explained that if he emerged the candidate of the party in the April 20th party primary he will fortify Amotekun for the good of Ondo people.
Ibrahim gave the assurance when he fielded questions from pressmen at the APC Media Centre shortly after obtaining his Expression of interest and Nomination forms.
He maintained that security will be key in his administration noting that in every strata of development security is vital because that is what guarantees investors hope that their investments is safe and secure.
According to him: ” Security, i will fortify Amotekun and I will use app to dislodge insecurity. There are apps that can detects insecurity and crimes, this are what i will employ.
” Modern security require this artificial intelligence to combat insecurity.
” Today security is about having the right app to manage the situation,
when i become the governor i will use the military jets to fly drones around for intense security”, he
The Senator representing Ondo West Senatorial District in the Upper Chamber stated that he has strategy for winning election.
He reiterated that he will ensure that Bitumen, a natural resource endowment in the state is properly tapped so that revenue can be generated from it to boost state internal revenue generation.
He said: ” I came with some Cambridge data analytics and i was able to win that election, i scored 111,677 votes against Agbola Ajayi so I gave him over 60,000 votes difference amongst all the contestants. For a few that I know, our strategy of wining this election is very clear and straightforward.
” I can assure you that we are going to win the next election, we have a  movement that were set up, we have collected data of over 400,000 i have visited over 120 wards, to complete to last week.
 ” My focus when I become governor, is to ensure that one, the Bitumen  $47 billion seated in Agbabu is extracted.
” I brought the current Bitumen bill before the the national assembly and we are now on the third reading of that bill so that we can have a law backing Bitumen.
” So why Bitumen arrangements have been failing is because we don’t have law guiding that”, he added.
