The Asiwaju Loyalist Ladies have intensified efforts to promote the humanitarian and social intervention programmes of Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, highlighting what they described as her remarkable contributions to women empowerment, youth development, education, healthcare, and support for vulnerable citizens through the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI).

In a briefing by their leader, Mrs. Abiola Towobola during the official uneviling of Tinubu Tourch bearers National Secretariat in Asokoro, Abuja, the group said the first lady was portrayed as “A Woman of Compassion and Renewed Hope,” with members of the organisation urging Nigerians to support the Renewed Hope agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

Towobola noted that since assuming office as First Lady in 2023, Senator Oluremi Tinubu has spearheaded several intervention programmes under the Renewed Hope Initiative, focusing on improving the welfare of women, youths, children, and disadvantaged groups across the country.

According to the flyer, the initiative has implemented food outreach programmes targeted at widows, persons living with disabilities, special schools, and vulnerable families in various parts of Nigeria.

The Asiwaju Loyalist Ladies further highlighted the First Lady’s contributions to the health sector, particularly her advocacy for maternal and child healthcare and campaigns aimed at reducing maternal mortality nationwide.

Among the achievements listed was the donation of ₦1 billion through the Renewed Hope Initiative to support efforts against cervical cancer and promote awareness on Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination among women and girls.

The organisation also praised Senator Tinubu’s support for women entrepreneurs through grants, training programmes, and business development initiatives designed to enhance economic empowerment and self-reliance.

She stated further that the First Lady has championed programmes supporting persons living with disabilities through financial assistance and welfare interventions, while also partnering with the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) to establish Digital Learning Centres in several states to promote digital literacy among Nigerian youths.

The group commended her sustained advocacy for girls’ education, women’s inclusion in governance, and youth empowerment, describing her interventions as critical pillars in advancing social development and national progress.

In addition, the body referenced international recognition allegedly accorded to the First Lady, quoting former United States President Donald Trump as describing Senator Oluremi Tinubu as “a very respected woman” in recognition of her public service, humanitarian efforts, and leadership.

Calling on Nigerians to continue supporting the administration’s programmes, the Asiwaju Loyalist Ladies urged citizens to remain committed to the ideals of the Renewed Hope Agenda, encapsulating their message with the slogan: “Pray, Vote, Win.”

The group maintained that the First Lady’s interventions have continued to complement government efforts in addressing social challenges and improving the lives of millions of Nigerians, expressing confidence that the Renewed Hope Initiative would further expand its impact across the country in the years ahead.

“Renewed Hope for a Greater Nigeria,” the group declared saying they have members which cut across the six geopolitical zones with leaders holding sway in their various household and constituencies.
