JUST IN: Concerned APC Members pass absolute vote of confidence on national chairman, Dr Ganduje

Concerned Members and Support Group of the All Progressives Congress, APC, have expressed confidence on the National Chairman of the party, Dr. Abdulahi Umar Ganduje saying those who want him removed are those who also wants to unseat President Bola Tinubu.
The converner of the group, Salihu Ahmad Alizaga made this disclosure during a solidarity visit to the National secretariat of the party to demonstrate their support for the national chairman over his recent purported suspension from the party. He said they have passed absolute vote of confidence on him.
Alizaga noted that the attempt by the Governor of Kano state and its affiliate members who wants the chairman’s seat should wait after Dr. Abdulahi Ganduje would have served his tenure so that they can come into the party.
He said all the efforts to come through the party vide the backdoor will not work because they are not coming through the right channels. He said the position of the National Chairman of the party is not vacant.
He said: ” As faithful party men and women, we unequivocally pass a vote of absolute confidence on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the President, Commander in Chief of Armed Forces, Federal Republic of Nigeria and our Egalitarian National Chairman, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for their jobs well done. Our support for the two of you is one hundred percent.
” We are confident that those who want the National Chairman removed are those who are interested in unseating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. We can not sacrifice competenceon the altar of mediocrity.
We are here to tell the whole World that, APC is one united family, devoid of rancor as being erroneously portrayed and speculated by few individuals under the OBVIOUSLY SPONSORSHIP of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP led Kano State Government.
” The apex was the then restraining order granted by Justice Usman Na’aba of Kano State High Court in favor of the non APC members over the alleged suspension of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje as our National Chairman, even though the Ganduje Ward Executive Committee of our party flagrantly denied the purported suspension in a well publicised press conference.
” It then causes doubt if the judiciary has now been politicized to the extent of been used as a tool to destabilize democracy in Nigeria.
” Alas!, whilst we were ruminating over this sad development, the Judiciary had restored our hope by reversing these negative and ugly trends!
” For aside the order of the Federal High Court, Kano Judicial division which earlier granted an order affirming the fundamental rights of our National Chairman, that put on hold, the implementation of the purported suspension; Justice Usman Na’aba also reversed his earlier order granted against the National Chairman.
” We are very much aware that there is orchestrated attempt to blackmail the National Chairman by the Kwankwasiyya Movement, who has now found accomplices in some former Governors of the North Central State to push for the removal of Dr Abdullahi Ganduje from office.
” It could be recalled that the concerned North Central Elders/Stakeholders forum led by a former Senate President, Sen. Ameh Ebute, Sen. Jack Tilley Gyado, Prof Nentawe Yiltwada, amongst others, had recently passed a vote of CONFIDENCE on the National Chairman and pledged their loyalty and commitment to the Party’s leadership. Surprisingly, when we hear of North Central zone agitation against our National Chairman, mostly it is been champion by someone from the North East and a pocket of few people from the North Central zone!!
” We want to tell Mr President that, we are committed to the Leadership of the Party under the Chairmanship of Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje. So far, the party has been repositioned, well managed and prudent in formulation and articulation of policies in advancing the course of our members, by OUR RESOUNDING VICTORIES in the last of-circle and Bye Elections in Kogi and many states in Nigeria.
” It is so disheartening to see Kano State Government sponsoring people in our party to cause CONFUSION AND PROBLEMS where THEY DO NOT EXISTS. Tell us, what is the problem with the Leadership of our Party? Is it the egalitarian leadership of Dr Abdullahi Ganduje or his loyalty and commitment to the President?.
” You will recall that in deference to the choice of our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the the Progressives Governors forum, members of the concerned North Central Elders and Stakeholders forum, endorsed Dr Abdullahi Ganduje before he was elected by NWC and CONFIRMED BY NEC as the National Chairman.
” You will recall that the North Central zone Elders and Stakeholders forum again met and subsequently passed a vote of confidence on him recently.
” We advise those who wish to be National Chairman after Dr Abdullah Ganduje,to wait till the next ELECTIVE convention where everyone will be allowed to test their popularity in the CONVENTION FIELD. The NEC of our great party has elected Dr Abdullah Ganduje as the National Chairman, and he has a tenure of office to complete. There is no ambiguity at all”, he stated.
