Offers appreciation to friends, family members

A popular and unique entertainment maestro, Chief Edi Lawani has stated that

he dedicated the award presented to him to his friends and family who have made him “sacrificial donation’ to the entertainment industry saying he is particularly delighted for it.

Lawani who made the appreciation note after he was presented the award as “Pathfinder In Event Production And Management”, in an event organised by the Nigerian Marketing Awards, NMA, on his Facebook page added that: ” I am humbled and grateful for this kind consideration”.

The multiple award winner and show promoter however thank his fans and the entertainment industry for finding him worthy of the award.

He said: ” I dedicate this award to the families of the numerous men and women in our industry, who bear the brunt of our long absences from home, while we are doing work behind the scenes, away from the klieglights, not expecting to be seen or recognized.

” I thank my immediate family for their understanding and their ‘sacrificial donation’ of daddy, to the Entertainment Industry. I love you all.
