Says government lack vision for the people of Kano State

As the dust arising from the court of appeal judgment in Kano state Governorship Election is yet to settle over the clerical error from the CTC, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje has described the government of Abba Yusuf as one filled with illiterates.

Ganduje made this derogatory remarks when the supporters of G4 group visited him at the national secretariat of the party in Abuja stressing that the conduct exhibited by the Gov. Yusuf administration after some supporters of the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP took to the streets to challenge the error in the CTC saying the behaviour of the governor and its supporters lacked knowledge and vision to lead Kano state.

He assured the G4 supporters who he said were confused due to the CTC noting that the error has been rectified and supreme court will also do the needful because APC won the election after it discovered what NNPP did through the back-door.

The differences is clear. Now, no doubt from what is obtainable in Kano where the government is confused. The government is disorganised, occupied with retaliation, vindictiveness,. It is the government of illiterates, serving illiterates. And those who claimed they are academics are pseudo academics.

According to him: ” So the differences is clear and glaring. The government is a government without mission. A government without vision. It is a government that has to pack away and go. First of all, they never won any election. 2019, they attempted to steal. Our mandate was recovered. The stolen property was recovered through electoral terminology knows as inconclusiveness. You know when a thief is about to succeed, it is easily attractive for the thief to come back. To think that they will be able to succeed this time around.

” But, we are organised. We are vigilant. We are determined. We are always with prayers. And that is our great weapons. And God is not going to give them time again to steal our mandate I am even surprised that they are trying to get public sympathy. That we are trying to snatch their mandate. How can a thief with your own property in his hands and now you are calling him to collect it and you are about to collect it, then he will say you want to confiscate his own mandate. Which mandate?

” There is no mandate. A stolen property can never be a legitimate property. There is no doubt about that. I thank you for your concern and previously, I know you were so destabilise with emotions. You were confused with the judgement of INEC. But when the tribunal came in, things started folding up. And the facts are out. And the tribunal has issued a verdict in our favour.

” We are fully aware that all the stolen votes were given through the back-door. I think some ballots papers came through the back-door. They were not signed or stamped. They were not dated. And this is clear in the electoral law. Any valid vote must be signed. It must be dated. And stamped. And because the ballot came through the back-door.

” Even during the election, there was an incident where in one house children signing. One of the children was heard saying becareful. They are blaming judiciary. They didn’t know that the Judiciary watched the clip. And from there the tribunal was convinced that yes, some ballot papers were brought through the back-door. And therefore the tribunal allowed us for inspection”, however said.

Continuing, the Dr. Ganduje reiterated that APC discovered these anomalies after it inspected the ballot boxes with officials of INEC and lawyers of those who stole APC mandate. He explained that they did the inspection with their lawyers and representatives of NNPP and the stolen ballot papers were fished out.

He said after they counted and minus the stolen ballot boxes, NNPP lost the election. ” And that was what happened. And this was not the first time somebody is losing election through subtraction of ballot papers

” And also, there were lots of members of the NNPP by the time INEC close receiving the names of those people who belong to a political party. We collected the names, the list of NNPP supporters with INEC which NNPP submitted to INEC. INEC stamped it with its received names.We went back again and they said there was new list. We check it and Abbas name was not there.

” The time given was over. INEC closed receiving authentic party membership list. But, shamelessly after the election, something that you are supposed to submit to INEC before election, then you are now submitting after election. And you even said revised list. That was why I said they are illiterates. This is not original.

” Now, the issue of knowledge came in, you know we have been saying we don’t beat about the bush. We know what we are doing. We work with vision, wisdom and knowledge. Therefore, we are convinced. This people were not members of NNPP by the time INEC closed receiving list of names of political parties. And according to the electoral law, then you are not qualified to contest.

” So, this is what happened. So the appeal court made it clear and Inshallah the supreme court will make it clearer. It is better to make this explanation so that we debunk the claims. So that we portray to the people of Kano State that they are sheer illiterates as far as democracy is concerned. They are telling black lies. And the black lies are haunting them”, he stated.

Chairman, APC G4 Group, who led the team of supporters in his remarks stated that they were on the visit to also congratulate the National Chairman of APC, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje over the victory recorded from the court of appeal judgment noting that they wish and hope that the supreme court do same so that the people of Kano can start building their lives again.

He said: ” When you were first appointed as Chairman of the party, we were here. And when the tribunal gave its ruling, we were also here. We are here again to also congratulate you over the court of appeal judgment.

” We are here to rejoice and thank God. We will not forget the success recorded in the last off-cycle Governorship elections in Imo and Kogi even thought we lost Bayelsa. But God has made it so. We recognised the efforts you are making for the good of the party. You have ensure that nobody tampers with our success in Plateau and Nasarawa State”, he said.

The G4 means Ganduje, Gawuna, Garo Group. It consist of all members of past appointees appointed by the Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje when he was Governor of Kano State.
