TSO Chairman, Hon. Suleiman Received Award of Excellence

Following the quest to reward service to the nation in different capacities, the Editorial team of Peace Magazine have deemed it fit to confer an award of excellence on the Chairman of Tinubu Support Organisation, TSO, Hon. Aminu Suleiman, who also dubbed as the Chairman of Governing Council, Federal College of Education, KEANA, Nasarawa State.

In his remarks shortly after receiving the award which was held in a ceremony at the Kebbi Hotel in Abuja, Suleiman said he is more than grateful for the award but assured that President Tinubu is committed to addressing the issues raised by the protesters who recently took to the streets across the nation to demand that certain points should be taken care of in addressing hunger and hardship in the country.

He however urged Nigerians most especially the youth to cooperate with the President so that he will not be distracted from the mission and vision that he has for the Nigerian people. He condemned the hoisting of Russian flag during the protests for no reason saying the flag doesn’t represent anything for Nigerians.

According to him: ” Let me use the opportunity to thank the organisers of this award. I must say that I am grateful for this award. It shows that you all follow my work and my desire to see a better and prosperous Nigeria working under President Tinubu. I have known him close to 20 years now. I know what he can do. And I believed he is committed to serving all Nigerians. The Renewed Hope Agenda is for the good of all Nigerians.

” I am not saying protest is bad. You can criticise policy of government that is not working via protests so that there will be a change. But what I am against is allowing the protest to be hijacked by hoodlums who do not see the need not to steal and loot peoples properties that they have suffered to acquire for themselves. Stealing by whatever means is bad. Let us condemned this act. No society should accept sterling and looting of peoples properties for any reason. That is what I am against.

” Those who are hoisting Russian flag during the protests, I don’t know what they want to achieve with it. It is wrong and bad. We are Nigerians. And the only flag we recognize is the Nigerian flag. I call on those who are doing that to stop. The security agencies are on the trail of those who are behind that wicked act and I know they will be dealt with. Nigeria is a peaceful country. Let us be patient with Mr. President so that he can assist to develop the nation for good”, Hon. Suleiman stated.
